Luther wins CACL at 79th International Show Luxembourg

Luther has a strong compact body with good rear angulation, he powers around the show ring with excellent movement which he fortunately has inherited from his mother. He has a super character with a great eagerness to work which he is applying to his Schutzhund training, we are so proud to have bred such a multi function dog. His quality is very evident in his showing career he was a top winner right from the start, we are so very proud of Luther`s achievements in the show ring.
We have very very high hopes of what he can achieve in the Working Trials and Schutzhund he will be attending next year 2012. Luther is excelling at Schutzhund and I am so proud of this young man. Luther is shown and conditioned for the ring and is also trained for Schutzhund by Lynne. We are both thoroughly enjoying the training side as it is so rewarding, and he loves to swim as we found out at one of his training days by the river (after a bet which I unduly lost). Luther has such a willingness to please me in whatever I ask of him and he loves to learn new things, he is absolutely great fun to have around, he lives with my three other Dobes Tikka his mother, Kastra his half sister, and Blitz our youngster.
Luther has had a fantastic showing career, gaining his JW and 1st CC from Junior at the tender age of 15 months under breed specialist Mrs Irene Rushfirth (Hikays) at Bath Ch Show in June 2009. Luther also won Best Puppy Dog at CRUFTS in March 2009 Judge Mrs Anne Winterbourne. He also gained his 1st RCC at N.E.Counties under breed specialist Mr Dave Anderson (Chancepixies).His 2nd RCC came at South West Dobe under Mrs Karen Castles.
Luther travelled to Northern Ireland in September 2008 where he won BPD at Northern Ireland Dobe Club under Mr Rob Douma from the Netherlands, the next day at Belfast Ch Show Luther went BPIB under Judge Mr Keith Allison, it was a great weekend for both of us. He has won numerous BPIB & BOB and every puppy Group placing was a G1.
We decided to try our luck in showing Luther in Europe so in July 2009 we set off to Luxembourg, Luther was graded Excellent3 at the Luxembourg Dobermann Show from an Italian judge Mr Murante Guacchino, we had such a great time we went back again. Our next show in Luxembourg with Luther was on the 6th September at the 79th International Dog Show, where Luther was graded Excellent1 in Intermediate Brown Males and he also won the CACL at only 19 months of age under a Luxembourg judge Mr Guy Kips. We plan to go back to Luxembourg in 2010 to try for his Luxembourg title.
As mentioned above in between Luther`s showing career he is working towards his Schutzhund 1 title and he is enjoying every single moment of his training, definetly a multi purpose dog.
What an end to Luthers showing year winning his first RCC and winning two very strong Limit classes with entries of 25-15 and gaining his 2nd RCC all within a month. He will be shown sparingly in 2010 as we will be concentrating on his Schutzhund training.
